The wife and I picked up our Outdoors RV 2023 Back Country 20BD on July 22nd! Sumner RV has the absolute lowest price in the nation. (I know this because I researched these for almost a year!) We live in Missouri now, but are from the Pacific Northwest. We planned on staying in the PNW for a few weeks. Our on-board generator would not run. I called and talked to Justin, and he said to bring the trailer back and they would take a look! We returned the morning of August 1st. They immediately started to troubleshoot. Turns out the Cummins 3600 LP generator was bad and this was not the 1st one either! Sumner RV could have said, "Not our problem" and sent us to the Cummins dealership nearby. It would of been at least a 3 week wait to have Cummins check it out! So, here we are, 2000 miles from home, purchased a fully self-contained RV, the weather was extremely hot, thinking, "we're going to "cook" for a while!" Sumner RV wouldn't have any of that!!! They replaced the generator with a brand new one on the spot, and we were outta there in the early afternoon! Sumner RV is a small operation, and they actually care about the customer! Thank you Andy, Justin, and all the others that were there for us! Ed and Shari, Raytown, MO

We purchased a new Outdoors RV toy hauler. From the time we ordered it, until the time it arrived, the customer service we received was excellent. I may have become a little pushy when we started getting delays, but that was not at the fault of Sumner. Factory delays with equipment and accessories, along with a quality inspection of the unit, lead us to a great trailer we will use for years. When we arrived to pick up our trailer, we were greeted by very professional and friendly staff. Throughout the entire process, we were never uncomfortable with our time at the dealership. Todd was quick at getting the financing side of things done without any hiccups. We ran into an issue about 40 miles after leaving the dealership for our 220 mile trip home. Without hesitation, Jason sent someone to help us and take the trailer back to figure things out. Once we got back to the dealership, Jason had a plan in place and was more than gracious with his knowledge and corrective actions to get us back on the road in no time. About 2 hours later, he even called to make sure we were doing okay before he went home. I would strongly recommend Sumner RV to anyone who is looking to save money and deal with a place who is not going to try and gouge you out of an extra dollar. I have, and will continue, to point family and friends to them for future purchases.

These guys are top notch. All of them! Thanks Vince for helping us with the sale ahead so we walk in, sign and go. Todd in finance had our deal set up ahead so we knew what we were doing. No surprises. Tim was great in the walk-thru and set up the new hitch. and Jeremy jumping in with the assist in the walk-thru and helping get the old hitch off the trade. Great, easy experience.

I want to just personally say thank you to Andy and the sales team. We recently purchased a unit (which we received a lead from the Sumner RV sales team) and after our purchase we had to sell our Bigfoot camper. We attempted to sell it on several social media sites including craigslist and OfferUp but to no luck. The Sumner RV folks offered to sell it on consignment for close to what we were asking. The staff told us to bring it in. They took in the rig, cleaned it up, placed it in the lot and ALMOST picked the exact amount of time it would take to sell. They called us in to do the final paperwork and payment and that was that. This was the first time I've ever sold anything in this way so I was a bit skeptical but after going through this, I now believe the process was well worth it. When it's time for us to upgrade again we have already decided how we are going to go about it! That you Sumner RV sales staff, you were amazing!!

We recently purchased a new ORV 22 FQS. Andy made our shopping experience so easy. We were wanting to upgrade our quality but maintain the size trailer that we previously owned. We fell in love with this design. Everything about it seems solid, comfortable, quiet and elegant. We had a brief and very positive experience with the service department after the purchase. We highly recommend Sumner RV and ORV manufacturing.

We searched high and low on the Internet and contacted many of the individuals and dealers located on the west coast that had the rig we wanted. Sumner RV Center, located in Sumner, Washington, and their team members from sales/service to management to finance ticked all of the boxes for us. The Sumner RV Center team members we worked with were respectful, responsive, accommodating, fair dealing, patient, facilitating, and trustworthy. The bottom-line - Sumner RV Center went above and beyond for us and made dealing out-of-state (even during a pandemic) simple to accomplish, far exceeding our expectations.
Respectful. Unlike some others, the team at Sumner RV Center was quickly responsive, friendly, low pressure, and helpful.
Responsive. Living far away, we could not stop by to see units. Andy Williams immediately answered us and our questions, provided information, build sheets and pictures, as well as connected us with other team members and resources as needed. Also, Andy was great about wrapping around to be sure our questions were answered timely and completely.
Accommodating. We preferred to camp on our way to pick up our new rig and did not want the hassle of selling our teardrop on our own. Andy arranged for Brannon, the owner, to call us about possible consignment of our teardrop. It worked out that we were able to leave our teardrop on consignment as we picked up our new fifth wheel. They even arranged to let us camp in their employee parking lot (actually a very lovely spot) the afternoon and night before we headed back to CA. This included some additional invaluable coaching and training from Brannon and Andy as we backed in, unhitched and hitched up for the first time!
Fair dealing. Sumner RV Center is very competitively priced on the unit we bought. Also, the amount we consigned our teardrop trailer for with Sumner RV Center was higher than some of the trade-in values we were quoted by others (including the dealer we bought the teardrop from in Oregon).
Patient. We had to change from towing a short lightweight bumper hitch trailer to towing a longer heavier in-bed hitch fifth wheel. Andy, Brannon, Charlie and other team members knowledgeably and patiently discussed trucks, hitches, cameras, tire pressure monitoring and more with us, as we had endless questions, before and after the deal. Alan provided us with a comprehensive walk through of our new fifth wheel and helped adjust our hitch. (Alan also helped facilitate the walkthrough for the quick sale of our consigned trailer.)
Facilitating. We did some research about how our state sales tax and registration works. We decided to pay sales tax in CA since it turned out to be less that WA. We pre-arranged to use a CA DMV partner located in a city on the way home to register and pay the sales tax, since they would meet us at our trailer (we chose a Wal-Mart parking lot) and handle all of the DMV red tape. Sumner RV Center finance team members called the DMV partner while we were in WA and made sure everything went smoothly for us when we got back to CA.
Trustworthy. It was somewhat worrisome and unsettling trusting a dealer we were not familiar with at the time. Andy Williams was reassuring that Sumner RV Center has been doing business for many years and are family run and honest. It turns out that is absolutely true. Our experience, from start to finish they were true to their word what you see is what you get. We had no issues or problems. Everything went as described and seamlessly for us.
(We live in rural Bishop, California, about a 3 to 4 hour drive from any sizable city. We purchased our first RV, an 18-foot NuCamp T@b 400 teardrop trailer new from an Oregon dealer. We LOVED that small teardrop but, after we adopted two kittens who travel with us, the living space became smaller and smaller as they grew. After a lot of research, we settled on changing to a Northwood Arctic Fox 27-5L. After a seamless process from beginning to end at Sumner RV Center, weve already taken a two-week trip and were loving it!)-Anonymous -
Sean was great to work with and we felt no pressure . The entire staff are friendly . Such an easy purchase with a nice team of people. Thank you Sean & Sumner RV

Could not have been more pleased with our experience purchasing through Sumner RV Center. Being our first trailer, we needed a lot of information and help understanding how to tow and equip our suv for the process. Larry and Sean handled us like old friends, and not only helped us find the right trailer, but also took us through the process of dealing with a 24 foot challenge behind our suv. You guys are the best, and we highly recommend you to all searching for their first camper, or to make that upgrade. Thomas and Maya Raptes

Sumner RV has a number of makes and models of RV's available on their lot to view. Sean Murrey our salesperson was very knowledgeable about their product lines. He was very patient with us and we never felt rushed. He offered us a number of different floor plans to choose from.

My wife and I had been searching for our trailer for months before we encountered Sumner RV at the Tacoma RV show. Larry Murrey the sales manager was very informative and we felt very much appreciated by Larry. Sean Murrey our salesman located our Northwood 22H that we had been searching what seemed like forever for, and created a deal that would make our dream come to reality. Both Sean and Larry really know their products and will take the best care of you before, and most importantly to us as rookie RVers, after the check clears! I highly recommend Sumner RV for your RV purchase!

After my husband and I returned from our vacation to Glacier National Park and Yellowstone in our Teardrop trailer (room for only 2), we decided it was time to upgrade! We spent a few months checking out RV dealers in Tacoma, Puyallup, and Fife. We saw a couple trailers we thought were nice and could possibly work. But, before we made our final decision we decided to check out one more place. So, we headed to Sumner RV. The experience we had with everyone there was amazing. We were treated like family. Our salesman, Jeff Reisenauer is incredibly knowledgeable and professional. We appreciated his honesty. He answered all of our questions and put our minds at ease. Jeff is a great guy to work with from the very beginning of your purchase until the end.We decided to purchase the Outdoors RV, Mountain Series, Bunk House. We look forward to many exciting trips with our grandchildren. The quality of workmanship in this RV is the best you will ever find. Bill and Heather took care of all the paperwork explaining all the details and making the whole process easy with no stress whatsoever. The final walk through of our new trailer was with Tim. He did an incredible job. He showed and discussed every single detail inside and out. He also gave us great tips about items we could purchase in the future if we so desired. There was absolutely no pressure to buy. Do yourself a favor and check out Sumner RV before you make a purchase anywhere else. You will be glad you did. Our thanks to everyone at Sumner RV that made us feel very special.Doug and Cathy Sala

Salesman Andy was AWESOME! Who can say they actually spent a "fun day" with a salesman? We went to Sumner RV specifically to look at the Outdoors RV (ORV) and Arctic Fox lines with no idea what models we wanted or if we wanted a TT vs. 5th-wheel. Andy spent 3-4 hours with us that day showing and re-showing all the different units. He was very patient answering our many questions (over and over). Andy is extremely knowledgeable & passionate about the products he sells but not that obnoxious hard sell guy. When it came time to leave without making a purchase he was very gracious. When we went back another Sat. to look at a new unit that had just come in he again spent all the time we needed, even going back to some units from our previous visit.
Thanks Andy, you were definitely an intricate part of making our RV purchase a pleasure!

After 15 years of owning a Motorhome, due My Wifes disability We sold it last August, but after a few months My Wife wanted to find something with a floor plan that would allow Her to continue Rving. In April We bought a used TT from Sumner RV that had a more user friendly floor plan, but after a few months We decided to upgrade to a new Arctic Fox 29L TT and Sumner RV there to make it happen. Sumner RV, in My opinion, a very Customer Oriented RV Dealer and I would highly recommend them to anyone in the market. Everyone We dealt with from our Salesman Shane to the Service Technicians were top notch. Thank You Sumner RV.Bob & Mary Ducharme

After losing our 5th Wheel in a fire... we had to go looking for a new RV. We had a height limitation due to where we store RV. Sumner RV had just what we needed for our "dry camping" RV style. Since we were so concerned about size, the sales staff brought an equivalent RV to our home and showed it would work prior to making an order. After our order arrived, we found the literature was in error, and the RV as configured would not meet our height restriction.Sumner RV worked with us to come up with a solution and implemented that solution totally at their expense. We had a chance to work with the owner, parts staff, and shop staff in resolving our problem. Without exception, this was a refreshing experience for us. Somehow their people helped us to get through the stress we still were under 9 months after losing our truck and 5th wheeler in the fire.If you want to buy from a company with a true "Northwest-Customer-First"..... Sumner RV is the place to go!

The R-Vision Onyx is a great trailer . Great price, service, and accessories. The guys at the Fife location were helpful, yet they allowed me and my family to overlook and research the trailer on our own accord with no issues or hassels. The freedom to look it over top to bottom was very nice. The negation on price and addition of the sway hitch was stress free. The folks at the Sumner location were very nice as well (the guy that walked me thru the trailer and hooked up the hitch was very helpful). Overall a very pleasant experience.Already camped in the trailer in eastern WA and slept over nights several times: pulled great, functions well, and fits the g.f., dog, and cat great. Only issue is the floor drain seal in shower leaked water into bathroom and the stereo receiver acts up (silicone for the seal and a factory reset will do the trick).Just waiting on the updated plates/tabs so please contact me they arrive. Thanks Sumner RV!!!!

I would like to say thank you to all the folks at Sumner RV that helped us with the purchase of our 5th wheel. Heather in finance. The very patient Tim, who explained every detail of the trailer. Larry in sales and finally Sean, the kind, patient no push salesman that we dealt with there. Thanks to all. You have a customer for life.

We just bought a 5th wheel from Sumner RV Center. I wish Sumner RV sold groceries, cameras and lumber. It would be the only place I would shop. The reasoning behind this. It's the people there. From the owner, to the lot attendant. Everyone treats you the same. Friendly, no pressure, kind and respectful. This is the most family friendly dealership we have been to (we have been to quite a few) The parts dept. is awesome. When it came to teaching us the ins and outs of this trailer, I felt like if it took us all day to figure one thing out, he would have stayed with us all day to teach us. The sales team is informative, very easy to talk to, patient and truly believe in the "no push" approach. Go there, you'll see.

Thanks for taking such great care of us. Unit was exactly as described, everyone friendly and helpful and when I had a problem with the hitch the service department dropped everything and made me a part so I could attach my bike rack. We had a great 3 week vacation in our used Born Free, everything works great and was just like I expected. Good job guys (and gals)

We've done business with Sumner RV for at least 20 years. It's where we go first for RV parts and service when we aren't looking for a new trailer. You can not find a better group of people in Sales and Parts. Friendly, honest and no pressure sales. We want to especially thank Brannon (the owner) for helping us with a trailer consignment after the loss of our dad. During this tough time - thank you.We would not go any place else for our RV needs.

Just wanted to write a review of everyone we have come in contact with at sumner RV.. I have owned 3 previous RV's.. I searched for many months , on line, and at shows to figure out what I wanted next.. I decided on an Arctic Fox trailer 28F.. I didn't bank on the absolutely GREAT customer care before , during, and after the purchase that We got from Sumner Rv. Sean, our salesman, was superb!! He even drove us around with the new RV to practice backing up... I was skeptical that it would fit in our old storage facility, so Sean went with us and even he had difficulty.. at a quandary of where to store our new RV, Sean talked with Brannon , the owner, and they made room for us at Sumner Rv. When we go in there , we know all the employees names. Tim in service, gave us a wonderful orientation to the RV workings. Brannon, the owner, negotiated our deal with a trade that was fair. Justin in service is always beyond customer service and does so many small things for us win no charge., such as putting on the cover for winter .. Larry, the sales manager , is always there for help and everyone always smiles at their customers, like family. Kathy, Lyssa in parts are always helpful and efficient. Heather handled our financial transaction so efficiently and always with a smile. Lynn is also great. In fact, we have yet to meet ANYONE there who could be complained about. Norm and I were in jobs that required customer service be the top priority..I can only say that if ANYONE is looking for the best place to buy an Rv, they should strongly consider Sumner Rv. There are lots of dealers out there, but if you want to be taken care of AFTER. You buy, not just during the exchange of money , then I strongly suggest you consider Sumner Rv. You won't be disappointed.

We purchased our RV at the Tacoma RV show this year. Christine was our sales representative. After looking for several months we found the RV that was perfect for us. Christine was great to work with and also the entire staff was great. We had to take it back for service a couple of times and the service department was wonderful to work with. Our experience with Sumner RV was very positive.

My wife and I met Andy at the Tacoma RV show and were instantly impressed with his approach in working with customers and people in general. I have been in business and sales for 40 years and have seldom met someone who I felt so at ease doing business with as Andy. We were looking for a premium class mid size all seasons travel trailer, but were not quite sure which model we wanted. After looking at several models we decided to purchase a 250 RDS Titanium by Outdoors RV. Throughout out the selection process, Andy demonstrated that he was just as concerned that we found the trailer that best satisfied our needs as we were. Once we decided on the 250 RDS Titanium Andy quoted us a price that was considerably less than other dealers in Washington, Oregon and the internet. In order to purchase the new trailer we had to sell our existing trailer which we consigned with Andy and Sumner RV. This sale went seamlessly within a couple of months and our check was presented promptly, just as promised. Overall we were very impressed and pleased with Andy, Todd the finance manager and all of the Sumner RV staff that we worked with. We have now taken several trips in our 250 RDS Titanium and continue to be impressed with the quality and attention to detail that Outdoors RV puts into their product. If you are considering a premium four season travel trailer, then I seriously recommend that you check out the Titanium series from Outdoors RV.If you are in the market for a travel trailer, or fifth wheel and want to be treated like an old friend, then I highly recommend that you visit with Andy and all of the Sumner RV staff. I'm sure that you will be as satisfied with your experience as we have become.
